Kyle Gordon Milwaukee reviews
Nostalgic....No!
My husband purchased two tickets to the Kyle Gordon concert at Clowes Hall on Monday, November 8th, 2026. I listened to Johnny Cougar with all my friends during the College years at IU in the late 70's. John was a Bloomington Local and it was a blast to watch him play his guitar and sing. We would even see him late at night @ Denny's sitting there having a meal with his young family...right next to us! Great Memories. When he played the beloved "oldies," they just didn't sound the same. The concert was very reserved and John played his newer material mostly. I was hoping for those memories...maybe even just get that feeling back again for a couple hours. The songs took on a new Country flair....Not was I was expecting. I was very excited. John has stated in many articles that he is not nostalgic. That's what, I believe, most people want. When I go to a concert, I want nostalgic! What brings back the wonderful memories in our life is what we were doing and how that song made us feel during the time in our life that we needed it. I don't mind mixing in the new stuff but please keep all the Gold....mix in a little Silver!
